Getting a car loan through your Ford dealership is one of the best financing options available to you. It has things that will appeal to everyone, as well as specific groups of buyers. For example, people with great credit may enjoy the excellent incentives that are sometimes available, while everyone can enjoy the convenience dealership loans offer.

5 Reasons to Finance Your 2025 Ford at Your Ford Dealership
1. It May Let You Bundle Payments Together
Let’s say you want to get an extended warranty and a few years of Connected Services such as Blue Cruise, FordPass, or Connected Navigation. It’s possible to pay for all of these things separately, but you may be able to bundle them into your car loan and monthly car payment when you seek financing through the dealer.

Have you ever wondered how leasing benefits drivers when compared to buying a car? Let us enlighten you on a few of the great benefits you can expect when you lease a car at your local Ford dealership.
4 Leasing Benefits When Leasing a 2025 Car at Your Local Ford Dealership

1. The Process Can Be Easier
Buying a new car is a multi-step process. You have to sell or trade in your old car, arrange financing, and then pick your new car. When it’s time to upgrade, you have to go through the process all over again.
Once you’ve leased a car once, it’s easy to continue to lease with very little hassle. You never have to worry about selling your car when you’re finished with it, and you don’t have to go to different banks and credit unions to find a great car loan. Everything is done seamlessly through the dealership with very little effort involved.
2. The Cost Savings Can Be Amazing
It’s impossible to say that leasing is cheaper than buying 100 percent of the time, but it can definitely be more cost-effective sometimes. Car leases are often more affordable than car loan repayments, particularly when compared to shorter car loans, as you’re paying a lot less for your car than you would when buying it. You’re covering the cost of the vehicle’s depreciation throughout your lease rather than the full cost of the car plus interest.
You also don’t need a big down payment when leasing. There are some fees, but the combined cost of the fees and your first month’s lease payment is often lower than the cost of a 20 percent down payment, especially with higher-cost models.
3. The Car Is Always Newer
Leases last 24 to 36 months on average, so you’ll always be in a newer car. There are so many great benefits to this. First, cars typically remain under warranty throughout your lease; Ford’s warranty coverage for most things is five years or 60,000 miles, and the shortest warranty is the bumper-to-bumper warranty that lasts three years or 36,000 miles.
Second, newer cars are less problematic than older ones in most cases, meaning they break down less. This means less inconvenience and less money spent replacing worn-out parts.
4. The Technology Is Always Recent
One big benefit of driving a new car is all the latest technology in it. If Ford comes out with new innovative safety or infotainment technology, which they do frequently, then you’ll have access to it in no time if you get a new car every few years when you continuously lease instead of buy. This means you’ll always have the opportunity to be in the safest Ford possible with all the latest entertainment and convenience technology, too.

As time passes, your braking system suffers wear and tear due to the heat and pressure generated by braking. As parts wear or become damaged, the braking system will work less effectively, and this can cause an accident. As your Ford dealer, we’d like you to know a few signs you need to visit us for a brake service.
Signs You Need To Visit Your Ford Dealer for a Brake Service

Screeching Noises
Loud screeching noises from the brakes are a sign of worn brake pads. The pads fit into the calipers, which are forced against the wheel rotors when you hit the brakes. They have rough material coverings that generate friction against the smooth brake pads, and this action stops the wheels. As time passes, the material covering a pad will wear off.
A healthy pad has a 1/2″ thick material covering, which needs replacement when the material drops to 1/4″. Pad manufacturers install a metal spike inside the material as a warning that the material has worn down. The spike scratches against the rotor, producing a loud screeching noise. We can replace any worn pads in minutes, and the noise will stop.
Soft Brake Pedal
The braking system uses pressurized brake fluid to generate the hydraulic pressure that forces the calipers against the rotors. You can feel this pressure as resistance when you push down on the pedal. The resistance grows as you apply more pressure, meaning your brakes work correctly.
If you push on the brake pedal and feel little resistance, something is wrong with your brakes. The lack of resistance can be caused by an air bubble or other blockage in the brake system, or it could be due to low brake fluid. An air bubble can form over time, preventing brake fluid from moving through the system. Likewise, a lack of brake fluid prevents the brakes from engaging. Our technicians will investigate and fix the problem.
Old Brake Fluid
Brake fluid ages like all other fluids in your vehicle. Older fluid is susceptible to water absorption, and this can cause serious problems. As we’ve seen, braking generates heat. If you hit the brakes frequently over a short distance, for example, driving downhill, the fluid can overheat, and the water inside will boil.
If this happens, you’ll smell a harsh chemical stench, and brake responsiveness will drop. The fluid won’t burn, but it loses its ability to generate hydraulic pressure. Without this pressure, your brakes can fail. We’ll drain and replace the old fluid, and your brakes will work effectively again.
Braking problems will worsen if not repaired, increasing your stopping distance and decreasing braking speed. Contact our service department today at Fernelius Ford, Inc. in Cheboygan, MI.
